Bagi para kandidat pengikut ‘I Dare Business Plan Competition”, yang sedang menyiapkan proposal; GIST akan menayangkan serial 6 sessi video tutorial tentang cara menyiapkan proposal “jagoan” (winning proposal). Video-video tersebut akan di upload di situs YouTube (The GIST initiative) dan di situs GIST : http://gist.crdfglobal.org/ rencananya mulai hari ini sampai 26 Januari 2012 (catatan: batas akhir pengajuan proposal tetap 24 Januari 2012). Setiap sessi video terdiri dari dua modul @ 90 atau total 3 jam, sehingga keseluruhan 6 sessi tutorial total durasinya adalah 18 jam. Pada setiap video, narasumber akan menjelaskan isi setiap sessi tutorial termasuk masukan-masukan dari peserta tutorial tentang konteks kewirausahaan yang berlaku di berbagai negara. Business Plan Competition

In Partnership with MIT Enterprise Forum from the Pan Arab region, GIST has opened its Business Plan Competition to all technology entrepreneurs with promising new technologies and companies. This funding will support new technology start-up development by facilitating mentorships with successful entrepreneurs, providing networking opportunities a model for suitable business development strategies in the region and access to U.S. markets by organizing visits to the U.S. for a selected group of entrepreneurs to establish direct connection with potential investors and partners.
“I Dare” GIST Business Plan competition winners will receive awards as follows:
Winning team (1 team): $50,000
First runner-up (1 award): $25,000
Second runner-up (1 award): $10,000
Best Female Entrepreneur team (1 award): $15,000

Rössler Papier : Paper that inspired!

Rössler Papier is family owned company founded in 1937, which delivers paper idea for more than 70 years. They produce high-end handmade paper products: envelopes, decoration, photo album, gift-boxes, greeting cards, etc.
Today it has 220 employees and more than 3.500 shops are opened in more than 20 countries. Its turnover as of 2010 is about €19 Million. The objective to visit the company was related to the current research cooperation between Rössler and the FH Aachen (university of Aachen). Dipl.-Ing. Philipp Ginkel as the project manager explained about the details of the innovative research cooperation.

This cooperation gets financed by the incentive program of the European Union through a private intermediary agency. But the Rössler Company contributes a person, who works all time in the project together with team of FH Aachen for the knowledge and technology transfer purpose; and also provides a machine for the research need. It is hoped that the cooperation can be accomplished by February 2012 since the company wishes to be the first, who sell the special innovative envelopes, which not sold on the market yet.
Some facts: it produces limited products; mostly hand-made; using old machines, which only produce limited number of paper (not mass); imported fine and high qualified paper from Holland; produce products for other paper company! (Kris_red)

Pelatihan intermediator teknologi 2011 tahap 2 yang diselenggarakan di Jerman telah memasuki bulan kedua. Pada bulan pertama, peserta mendapatkan materi di kelas tentang beberapa topik, antara lain intermediasi teknologi, inkubator, managemen klaster, blue ocean strategy, business model, sistem inovasi nasional, dsb. Materi yang disusun dan diberikan oleh beberapa mentor dari VDI|VDE|IT, merupakan gabungan teori dan praktis, sehingga peserta tidak hanya mendapatkan materi saja, namun mereka juga dibagi ke dalam beberapa kelompok untuk mengerjakan studi kasus dan mempresentasikannya di depan kelas.

Peserta sangat antusias dan aktif ketika mengerjakan tugas kelompok. Di samping itu, VDI|VDE|IT juga menghadirkan beberapa praktisi dari luar untuk memberikan gambaran secara lebih komprehensif kepada peserta pelatihan. Agenda lain yang juga dilakukan oleh peserta pelatihan adalah kunjungan ke pre-inkubator, inkubator teknologi TU Berlin serta Technology Park Wuhlheide dan Adlershof.

Memasuki bulan kedua, peserta dibagi ke dalam 5 (lima) kelompok untuk melakukan kegiatan mini-internship di beberapa lembaga transfer teknologi dan institusi terkait dengan kegiatan pengembangan inovasi di beberapa kota Jerman. Kelima daerah yang dipilih adalah Berlin (Techno Park Adlershof), Dresden (Technische Universität Dresden), Aachen (Zentrum für Biomedizintechnik, FH Aachen, AGIT dan IMA ZLW IfU), Stuttgart (Steinbeiss) dan Munich (VDI|VDE|IT branch office Munich).

Untuk kegiatan internship di kota Aachen, peserta pelatihan yang terdiri dari 6 orang, ditempatkan pada 4 (empat) institusi yang berbeda. Kegiatan yang mereka ikuti pada saat internship cukup bervariasi: Sda. Abdul Kadir Mukarram yang ditempatkan di Zentrum für Biomedizintechnik (ZBMT) diminta untuk melakukan market research tentang potensi industri farmasi di Indonesia serta membantu tim untuk persiapan kick off meeting antara ZBMT dengan delegasi dari Jepang tentang peluang kerjasama bidang farmasi. Sda. Ari Eko Prasethio dan Sda. Pridana Nasution melakukan internship di FH Aachen.
Mereka mendapatkan tugas untuk membuat analisis singkat tentang addictive manufacturing dan energy efficiency. Gebhardt yang menjadi supervisor mereka, juga aktif melakukan kegiatan transfer teknologi dan kerjasama dengan industri di kota Aachen. Sedangkan Sda. Tomi Arianto yang mendapatkan tempat internship di AGIT (Technology Transfer Management Office, Aachen) memiliki pengalaman yang berbeda karena dia diminta untuk melakukan analisis SWOT tentang kota Aachen dan kota Bursa dan Istambul di Turki. Saat ini pemerintah daerah Aachen sedang berupaya untuk menarik investor dari Turki untuk melakukan bisnis di kota Aachen. Sedangkan Sdi. Asnia Paramita dan Sdi. Galuh Prawitasari yang internship di IMA ZLW IfU diminta untuk membuat analisis beberapa proposal bisnis yang gagal mendapatkan insentif.

Beberapa acara seperti “Nacht der Forschung – Malam Riset”, business gathering serta “Start Up Company Day” sudah menunggu partisipasi dari peserta internship di kota Aachen. (Kris/ad-IKM/dep-5/humasristek)

Kemarin, beberapa hari yang lalu ikut ke kampusnya si adit, fotografi isi. Kelihatan banget kalo saya anak luar, saya langsung menyatroni pojokan dinding yang isinya event-event sama pameran karya foto. kampusnya besar lho, lebih besar banget dari kampus saya *eh oot*.

Dasar saya yang memang punya latar belakang dulu suka bikin animasi langsung kepincut ama poster workshop animasi stopmotion-nya jogja animasi. *ngesearch di gugel tentang detail acara dan posternya ga ketemu*.

jadi animasi stopMotion itu sederhananya adalah runtutan pergerakan objek frame by frame yang difoto trus dianimasikan.

requirementnya jelas,

1. kamera
2. tripod (biar gag goyang)
3. software buat mengolahnya (bisa apa aja yang berembel-embel movie maker atau adobe flash juga bisa)

Dulunya media yang sering diapaki clay, karena enak ngerubah objeknya. Salah satu iklan televisi yang masih tayang menggunakan animasi stopMotion adalah animasinya yupi

My name is bedjo, just call me that. that nickname is popular in my hear since i go to English course and my English teacher ask us to describe someone that famous. in that time i describe about osama bin laden and at the same time i introduce my self as bedjo bin laden. and after that my close friend call me bedjo. sounding silly but i like it. in Javanese bedjo means luck.

I just sit in my class 2.4. since there are rule about student must read Holy Quran ten minutes before study in first hour, the bell is ringing in early – i dislike the early bell . after the bell ringing religion teacher watch us, everyone who don’t bring Holy Quran or do homework when that time will be punished. today no homework in the morning and also i don’t come late. so great!

“Hei Djok, you get it” tama said.
“what?” i look at tama lazily, my imagination is just disturb.
“First rank in Chemistry Olympiad” he replies.
“Oh” my eyes is rolling on the window.
I dont overhappy, i just dont show it. its in me :woot:, I am happy but i dont show it. it just my second time in Chemistry olympiad, the first one is when i am in firdt grade, i got third rank. When i was in first grade, i dont believe that i got it, i am first grade student compete with second and third grade. in this year i am more optimistic and i get it. when tama my class leader say about it I am very grateful.

Tama, is my prefect (ketua kelas), He has fat muscular body (-_-”), his body is quite high and always has a sweaty hands. He is cheerful, he is one of my best friend in senior high school.

I caught a strange look on his face after all, when he brought good news for me.
“Why are you ma?” I said.
“I’m fine, I applaud with you …” his voice get smaller,
I feel strange feeling.

3 years is more than enough to find Tama’s talent. His treasures. That afternoon I ride my friend’s Vespa to Magelang, to national tae kwon do competition, Tama is one of athlete that follow it. I am college student in one of private university in jogja. And that day I go to magelang especially to meet with tama. My big bro.

He grow faster, I see someone that struggle to reach his dream.
“jok, do you remember that you ever advice me to struggle to reach my dream because each person have their own unique?” he shoot me.
“yup…” I replied
“Thx to give me spirit, I’m so inspiring since I talk with you when you got rank in chemistry olympiad three years ago…”
I was touched

one year later, I found a message from the social networking from Tama, he will join in the sea games. I’m so proud, one week after tama’s good news. I got the answer to my effort, my eyes staring at the laptop screen which confirmed that I get 2 months of opportunities to visit berlin.
