I Dare Business Plan Competition


Bagi para kandidat pengikut ‘I Dare Business Plan Competition”, yang sedang menyiapkan proposal; GIST akan menayangkan serial 6 sessi video tutorial tentang cara menyiapkan proposal “jagoan” (winning proposal). Video-video tersebut akan di upload di situs YouTube (The GIST initiative) dan di situs GIST : http://gist.crdfglobal.org/ rencananya mulai hari ini sampai 26 Januari 2012 (catatan: batas akhir pengajuan proposal tetap 24 Januari 2012). Setiap sessi video terdiri dari dua modul @ 90 atau total 3 jam, sehingga keseluruhan 6 sessi tutorial total durasinya adalah 18 jam. Pada setiap video, narasumber akan menjelaskan isi setiap sessi tutorial termasuk masukan-masukan dari peserta tutorial tentang konteks kewirausahaan yang berlaku di berbagai negara. In Partnership with MIT Enterprise Forum from the Pan Arab region, GIST has opened its Business Plan Competition to all technology entrepreneurs with promising new technologies and companies. This funding will support new technology start-up development by facilitating mentorships with successful entrepreneurs, providing networking opportunities a model for suitable business development strategies in the region and access to U.S. markets by organizing visits to the U.S. for a selected group of entrepreneurs to establish direct connection with potential investors and partners.
“I Dare” GIST Business Plan competition winners will receive awards as follows:
Winning team (1 team): $50,000
First runner-up (1 award): $25,000
Second runner-up (1 award): $10,000
Best Female Entrepreneur team (1 award): $15,000

Some Parts of Intertek Activities w/ Batik in Dresden :D [Video]

Video above is some picture from Dresden Team that show their activity in Internship. Dresden is nice city in east of Berlin. I visited there when I follow Dresden team when they survey and visit the homestay :)

In Dresden they do very interesting activities like give presentation in TU Dresden in front of hundreds college student, they did exhibition that show Indonesian Culture. Some of them work with Germany veterinary. And Also they take picture nicely :)

Okiagari-koboshi

Okiagari-koboshi (a roly-poly toy) is a hand-made traditional folk craft which has been preserved in Fukushima Prefecture for 400 years. It is small but able to right itself whenever pushed over with spirit of ‘Nanakorobi-yaoki’ (literally meaning “falling down 7 times, get up 8″), shows the resident and persistent characteristics of resident of the prefecture.
